Priska Gisler is head of the Intermediality research at University of the Arts Bern since 2009. Her work is based in STS, gender studies and critical cultural studies of the arts. In cooperation and interaction with artists from the Fine Arts, literary writing and the performing arts she has developed and led a range of research projects.

Her work is dedicated to subjects such as artistic practices, production of knowledge in varying social contexts and the changing concepts of human-nature-relationships.She hold posts at ETH Zurich and University of Zurich, was research fellow at MIT Cambridge/MA, London School of Economics and Goldsmiths University of London and was guest professor at University of Vienna and Alpen-Adria University. Her most recent books are „Präparat Bergsturz“ (Volume 1 with Katharina Ammann, Vol. 2 with Florian Dombois, Schirin Kretschmann, Markus Schwander) and „Intersections of Law and Culture“ (with Caroline Wiedmer & Sara Steinert-Borella).
