DANCING TOGETHER

What is at-stake in dancing together? Dancing Together is a research project considering the seminal example of William Forsythe`s choreography Duo from 1996-2016. The three-year project brings together researchers from the field of dance studies and sociology with dancers and experts in video annotation, to reflect upon the special interaction between dancers engendered in this choreography and the challenge to produce discourse pertaining to this nuanced practice. The project is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation.
